![]() We stay a lot at the Marriott Hotels when we travel. They were voted Best of the Bay hotels while we were there. I would stop here if I ever return to the wine country. I would rate this hotel 5 stars and more, for your money, just unbelievable. Directions and recommendation of eateries and destination route to the wine country was wonderful. Cool mid-century hotel with modern updates - intelligent & helpful staff, comfortable & clean room, lovely pool & grounds, access to comprehensive health club (. The entire front desk staff were helpful, especially as we were from Tennessee. ![]() The night manager, Stephen was so helpful and gave us a personal tour of the hotel. It is within 1 mile of shopping center, great restaurants and easy off and on of HWY 1 to the wine country. Just kidding, but you want to stay at this hotel and not the chain hotels. They had a fabulous pool, health club ( many locals come just for the health club), restaurant, bar and did I mention the beautiful rooms. I was astonished to find this jewel of a hotel under $200 a night in the wine country? I was even more pleased to see the beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, cleanliness, etc. It had everything and more that even the "chain" hotels don't have. ![]() We came upon the Flamingo Conference Resort and Spa. /rebates/2fShowUserReviews-g33055-d79829-r823452456-FlamingoResort-SantaRosaSonomaCountåalifornia.html&.com252fShowUserReviews-g33055-d79829-r823452456-FlamingoResort-SantaRosaSonomaCountåalifornia. ![]() We toured the Sonoma Valley wine country also looking for a regular "chain" hotel to spend the night. ![]()
